What is chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care is a hands-on approach to support your musculoskeletal system with a variety of ailments from back pain to ankle sprains. Chiropractors focus on joints, muscles, and nerves to help you return to the activities that you want to be doing. Lifestyle factors may also be examined, such as diet and nutrition, exercise, and stress levels.

Chiropractors are trained to help move joints and muscles in such a way to help restore normal function of those structures. This may be achieved with manual adjustments, mobilizations, muscle work, or stretches. Some of these treatments may result in a "pop"! That pop is simply air being released from the fluid inside a joint.

Multimodal care, meaning care from several aspects, is valuable in the treatment of many conditions, and your chiropractor is an important part of that team!
